Delete my account
You can delete your ve2nir.ca account yourself, at any time.
What is deleted:
- your account: callsign, name, email, address and phone (if you gave them), password;
- the photo or PDF of your amateur radio certificate;
- your HAM+ devices and their activation codes;
- your access to the site’s listening services.
When: right away. Site backup copies are erased on their own within 30 days.
What is not deleted: the “account deleted” line in the site log, with the date. It holds neither your email nor your phone. It is kept 12 months, then erased.
Your PayPal purchases (HAM+ for Android): what tax laws require stays, without your account: the date, the sale number, the PayPal numbers, the province, the country and the amounts. It is kept 6 years after the end of the year of purchase, then erased. The purchase is tied to the device: it is lost with the account, even if you register again.
The server’s technical logs are erased on their own within 12 months at most.
Your settings in the app (DMR ID, network passwords, memories) stay only on your device. To erase them, delete the app.
Before you confirm:
- Sign in with your callsign and password.
- Type your callsign in the box to confirm.
- Tap “Delete permanently”.
We never ask you to send an email or to call. After deletion, HAM+ can no longer start on your devices unless you register again.
